This is the project site for the PROPHET64 & MSSIAH SDR Load and Save device (SDr).
The SDr makes it possible to load and save songs, instruments, patterns, patches etc from your favourite C64 music software using the SDR function on a microSD card.
It is the fastest and easiest solution avaliable. It takes less than 14 seconds to load a MSSIAH sequencer song and 17 seconds to save one. A big improvement, compared to a 1541 floppy drive.
The handling is very simple. Just choose a slot and press a button to load or save from/onto that slot.
Please check the Prophet64/MSSIAH Forum for any Questions about the SDr before you write an email. All new informations will be posted there first!!
DO IT YOURSELF
All you need
To build the SDr you need a PIC24FJ64GA002 microcontroller with a special software burned/flashed onto it.
If you can't burn the PIC, I offer you to burn it for you. Just contact me for more info!
ATTENTION! The old schematic V0.9 contained a bug and is fully replaced by V0.9.2!!
The provided schematic and software is working fine for me. But :
I take no responsibility for any bugs or damage caused by building or using the SDr !!!
Please keep always in mind that you are dealing with a 25 year old Computer!
